Here at Botropolis, we’re used to fearing our future metal overlords. But sometimes you come across robots that are just so cute and cuddly, you drop your guard and let them infiltrate your heart. That’s usually when they strike you down of course. But I think we’re safe when it comes to Bunk Bots.

These Bots don’t move, make sounds, take batteries, or light up in any way. They’re just soft and cute. And only 12 bucks! They stand 8″ tall, and kids of all ages can dig them. They’re a great Christmas gift for that geek on your list.

I’m secure enough in my manly hood to admit that plush robots are often very cute. And reluctantly admit to thinking about, just thinking about mind you, cuddling with them. But when some bots go plush, it just looks weird. This R2 for instance looks sad and stuffed and kind of arthritic. He’s about 7-inches tall and costs 12.99 when he arrives in September. Still, he’s better then a plain old pillow on your couch.
