For those of you who like the mascot of JJ Abrams production company,”Bad Robot“, we have a sighting. In the second issue of the Star Trek prequel comic which came out yesterday, artist David Messina dropped another one of his Easter Eggs into one of the shots (on page 22).

If you look closely at a meeting between Spock and Picard on Vulcan, you can see a robot off to the right, notably a Bad Robot.

Any fan of Lost has seen the Bad Robot mascot at the end of the show. Some of us robo-enthusiasts have been craving actual merchandise because it’s a great mascot. We are in luck. JJ Abrams had these limited edition figurines made in a batch of 500. 3 will be given away at Comic-con this week, where they’ll be showing off a pilot of the new show, Fringe. Nice!
