HRP-4C Robot Sings
October 7th, 2009

Our favorite girl robot is back in the spotlight and she has a new talent. Singing. The HRP-4C robot sings beautifully with some help from Yamaha’s Vocaloid voice synth software. Makes sense. When the last humans are being slaughtered, it will be to her beautiful song.

Robotic Bride Will Kill You And Your Wet Feet
July 22nd, 2009

Robotic Bride Will Kill You And Your Wet FeetFear comes the bride…Deaded Bliss…I can think of several Horror movie titles to accompany the above image. Yes, this is a humanoid robot marching down the aisle in a wedding dress. As usual, it happened in Japan.

The HRP-4C humanoid robot was featured in a fashion show in Osaka, walking down the runway in a wedding dress. Probably a few of the attendees scoffed and commented about her wearing white, since we all know that a few of the dorks that built her must have taken a moment to perve on her.

HRP-4C Fashion Model Robot
March 16th, 2009

HRP-4C Fashion Model RobotThe HRP-4C is a walking, talking humanoid fashion model fembot developed by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). It has possibly the creepiest humanoid movements I’ve ever seen.

I want to shoot it in the face and save mankind. Sadly, as these fembots get more lifelike, I won’t know whether to shoot it or sexually harass it.

She has 30 motors in her body, is 62-inches tall, and weighs 95-lb. The HRP-4C can walk around and strike a range of poses.(You ain’t a real model until you puke up your meals and get a coke habit. Just saying.) She also has 8 motors in her face, allowing her to wow the crowds with expressions like anger and surprise. HRP-4C is scheduled to make her official runway debut in a special fashion show in Tokyo next week, though she will not be wearing any clothes. Video below.
