Robot creator Hajime Sakamoto created the Hajime 33 robot as his entry into the annual RoboCup Japan Open robot soccer tournament in Osaka, Japan. It stands out because of it’s outrageous style. You don’t usually see such flair in the robots found at the event.

This guy is like the Ric Flair of Robot soccer. Totally arrogant, a bit feminine, definitely flamboyant and ready to kick ass. He’s all shiny black plastic and metal and clearly we will see more like him in future events. Meaning, robots with a more human look.
