Snail Bot Cleans Buildings, Paints
When it comes to large buildings, we need some bots that can scale them and do maintenance. This bot does windows and walls, and any other flat surface a human can’t reach. The Snail by Yasunori Goto, Ibe Tommokichi and Hirata Ichiro, climbs and sticks to surfaces using air compression suction.

It connects with a safety cable that houses a power cord and communications cable. Attachments are added to clean, paint, carry tools and take pictures.

SmartPal V Cleans, Throws Gang Signs, Harasses Toy Pandas

This is one badass robot. From what I can gather from the video, this guy starts off by throwing gang signs, thereby telling other bots that this is his home turf and he will be the one cleaning it, otherwise he’ll pop a cap in your ass. Then he swiffers something, molests a cuddly panda, sets the panda down in a high place, so that he can delight in it’s eventual fall, then vacuums.

Lego Wall-E Cleans Up After Messy Nerds

NXT Mindstorms hacker, BlueToothWiki loves Wall-E and he also loves to have a robot clean up after himself. Who doesn’t? Based on a leaked picture alone, the bot won one of the NXTLog building challenges last year and was made entirely out of one NXT retail kit and one 2007 TECHNIC Bulldozer kit. Yes, it actually works and with an ultrasonic sensor it will scoop up trash and clean up. Just don’t leave him alone forever. Video below.
