Transformers Cufflinks
June 26th, 2009

Transformers CufflinksWhat does a geek wear to a high class shindig? Transformers cufflinks of course. Nothing says class like an autobot and a decepticon at your wrist. They’re similar to these. Each one measures about 2cm by 2cm, and they are silver plated. They are available for $20 from Etsy.

Transformers Jeans Put Optimus Prime In Your Pants

Transformers Jeans Put Optimus Prime In Your Pants
These Transformers jeans won’t change into shorts, but they will make a geek fashion statement. Edwin, the popular jeans label, is rolling out a new line of Transformers jeans. Sadly for larger dorks, the specs on the Edwin online shop suggest that the largest size is equivalent to about a 36.4 inch waist. Sorry Comic Book guy.

Octopus Robot Has A Posse T-Shirt
Every badass has a posse. It’s a requirement. Especially if you’re octopus robot. Your awesome metal tentacles can only do so much. They aren’t like those pincer claws that most robots have factory-installed. With a posse, you can take over the world much faster.

Mr. Roboto Watch
June 13th, 2009

Mr. Roboto watch
Azimuth is a watch manufacturer in Switzerland. They’ve announced their Mr. Roboto watch, the world’s first vintage tin robot concept timepiece.

The idea is that it’s based on retro tin robots. The time is easy to read and the appearance is awesome. The left ‘eye’ is for the hour, the right ‘eye’ comes with GMT indication, the nose region joint with the mouth region are the seconds. It’s been available since September 2008 with the international retail price of about $4,800 USD. It’s one of the coolest watches I’ve ever seen.

Transformers: Robots In Disguise T-Shirt
June 9th, 2009

Transformers: Robots In Disguise T-Shirt
This shirt may very well reveal the plot for the third Transformers movie. You know, the one where Michael Bay sends the Autobots back in time to the old west, where they blend in by donning handlebar mustaches. One can only assume that there would be a scene where one of the bots offers Megan Fox a mustache ride. Only $15.

Men-Women-Robots Restroom Shirt
Hey, robots need to go too. Even if it’s just to charge up real quick. This awesome woman’s shirt is only $24.95. They are also available for men and in other colors. Make sure you order one by clicking the link below. It’s important. Why?

It helps fund Fon Davis’ projects. One of those projects is a coming soon live action webisode of something called MORAV. He’s working on the project with the “help of close friends, coworkers and other renegades from the entertainment industry.” Mythbusters fans will recognize one of those names as Grant Imahara. He’s got some rough footage as well as computer graphics on his site here.

MORAV

I can’t wait to see what the team does with this, myself. If at all possible, I’ll try to get Fon to give us some regular updates in the near future.

Custom Optimus Prime Ring With Ruby Eyes
June 1st, 2009

Custom Optimus Prime Ring With Ruby Eyes
This is a fully custom Optimus Prime ring created by deviantartist Dans-Magic for a client. It’s perfect to propose to that super-geek chick who waited in line with you to see the movie. Or, to wear yourself, knowing that you will be single forever.

A 14k custom piece, it took 50 hours from start to finish.

I didnt want to put in the rubies but he wanted them. Originally I had carved the triangle eye sockets but it got wiped out with the setting of the stones.

I molded it to make some without stones (stones optional)
