If it’s another expensive toy you’re looking for, you might want to look into the PLEN hobby robot. The robot shown above connects with your iPhone or Android phone via bluetooth. You tell it commands by doing certain linear motions on the touch screen of your phone. For example if you click the arrow up, it’ll move forward, just like a gaming controller. If you click one of the top corner buttons, it’ll turn itself 90 degrees depending on which side you clicked it to. Furthermore, there is a long list of secondary commands like kicking a ball or clapping.

PLEN robots are selling retail for 262,500 yen ($3,000.) If you like robots that are only limited edition, then you should be on Audiocubes.com buying one now. There are only 50 copies in the world. The iPhone version is demonstrated here.
