We’ve seen plenty of robotic parts that are designed to replace human body parts, but this one is something new. Researchers at the Institute of Food Research in Norwich have developed an accurate working model of a human stomach.

Who knows, it may one day work in conjunction with this. But that’s getting ahead of ourselves. This stomach aka The Dynamic Gastric Model took 10 years to design. The idea is that it will help scientists test medicines and study human digestion among other things, without using an actual human.
