If you have a spare $400,000 to lay down for a humanoid robot, then you’ll be happy to know that you can now buy a HUBO 2, from the KAIST Hubo Lab.
Rightly so, Dr. Jun Ho Oh and the team built the hardware first, believing that the software could be added later. It has been in development for the last ten years and now you can finally own one. Well, we know that HUBO 2 can toss a ball thanks to the accompanying video, where he tossed the opening pitch at a recent Cubs-Phillies game. If you check out the second video, you’ll find that several HUBOs can perform The Beatles classic “Come Together.”
So at least we know that the rich folks who buy a HUBO 2 can do some really cool things. It will be interesting to see what these HUBO 2 models get up to next.

Nice to see Botropolis back up and running!
Thanks. It was down for too long. I still have a bunch of stuff to fix, but we are back. Look for daily new articles on all things robot!
