Soon every country in the world will have their own walking humanoid robot. Turkey is the latest. They have officially unveiled the SURALP robot to the world. It stands for “Sabanci University Robot Research Laboratory Platform,”. The University has been posting videos of his progress for a while now.
This eight year project has cost $1 million so far, but he was only recently shown off to the world at a demonstration, where some of the highlights included handing someone a can and then, later, throwing that very same can into the trash.
