This Biped is two meters tall, weighs 230kg, and can lift the equivalent of a musclebound dude. It is the latest robotic biped from Japan. The Core project is being developed by the fuRo lab in Chiba’s Institute of Technology. Its objective is to deliver increased mobility for handicapped people, beyond wheelchairs.
Things are looking good so far since it can safely balance a 100kg load while doing squats. You can watch him in action below.
