Kokoro’s Robot Doubles

Kokoro Actroid

Japanese robotics company Kokoro, most known for its line of humanoid receptionist Actroid bots, has recently announced that this winter you can have your very own ROBOTIC TWIN!!!1!

A lookalike robot from Kokoro will boast its owner’s face, body, hair, eyes and soul eyelashes. Additionally, the facial expressions, upper body movements, and voice of the owner will be replicated for the bot.  Orders for robot doppelgängers can be placed between January 1st and 3rd at 28 Japanese department store locations.

Kokoro is only planning to make two of these robots—any more orders will be placed in a drawing. Since one of these bots will set you back 20.1 million yen ($223,000), Kokoro isn’t expecting massive demand. Or any demand, really.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m pretty anxious to make out with a robot clone of myself. Now accepting donations for my weird sci-fi fetish.
