Giant Combat Robots Guide Travelers In The Ukraine

Giant robots like this are a fairly common sight in Russia these days. The caption for this image reads “TIS is proud to inform that we are the first in our Kominternovsky region to employ Giant Humanlike Combat Robots within the Security Department. Model TIS-1CB.”
Sounds ominous. But this sentinel isn’t standing watch so that it can kill any humans who wander by. TIS (Transinvestservice) is a logistics company near Odessa. When they had problems with people finding their warehouse they set up an giant robot made from old cars as a signpost.
It’s much easier to know that you have arrived when you see a giant robot and soil yourself.
