Nao Humanoid Finally Arriving Next Year
November 28th, 2009

Nao Humanoid Robot Plays With Microsoft's SurfaceSo the International Robot Exhibition has drawn to a close, but not before Nao was shown off to the attendees. We’ve been following Aldebaran Robotics’ little humanoid for awhile. The 23-inch tall bot features full range of motion, which allows it to even get from a sitting position to it’s feet, as well as walk.

He can also pick up small objects and process audio and visual data to navigate. But the big news here is that the company plans to release a commercial version as soon as next year. No price info yet, but expect to pay a pretty penny.
