Kokoro Wants To Help Build Your Dream Girl

At iRex 2009, Kokoro was also showing off some new products based on the technology used in the field of humanoid robotics, like Actroid. She only looks as good as she does because of what’s beneath the surface.
The Human-Type Head Basic assembly kit is meant for schools and education. With this kit, students will be able to see how a combination of simple mechanisms can produce complicated and complex expressions. They will learn how to use an air cylinder and to study “link mechanisms” (a mechanism that converts the linear movement of cylinders into the rotation movement such as the opening and closing of the jaw for example).
Pretty cool. The moral of this story is that if you stick with your robot head kit, one day you just might have yourself a fancy fake girl.
