China Announces 1st Humanoid Robot Olympic Games

Photo from MAKEChina has announced that the first Robot Olympic games of their own for June 2010. No humans allowed. Only bipedal humanoid robots. Even wheeled robots are not allowed. They expect more than 100 universities from at least 20 countries to participate.

Events include combat, dancing,track and field, domestic service and medical care. As usual, the goal of the games is to help push robotics forward.
