Robonica Roboni-i Robot Will Be Competing With WowWee This Holiday SeasonWe first told you about Robonica’s Robini-i programmable robot back in August. It looks like they mean business, having just appeared on the cover of the new Hammacher Schlemmer holiday catalog. The company is obviously aiming to compete with WowWee.

Their bot can apparently interact with other bots online and in real life and has some basic programming capabilities with the included software. Hammacher Schlemmer is charging $299.95 for the kit. Hard to say if this will make a dent in WowWee’s sales or not. It seems pretty devoid of personality as it is, but who knows.
