A Trio Of Kappa Bots

In Japanese folklore, Kappa are river imps that are usually depicted as scaly green frog-like creatures with duck bills and a tortoise shell, a bald head ringed with spiky hair. They can be benevolent or dangerous. They are supposedly responsible for some really nasty deeds, despite their humorous appearance.

So of course hobbyists are building Kappa robots. They are cute, but like their namesake, they obviously hide some dark secrets. Check out two more videos below.
