Panasonic Promises Robot Drug Dispensers
July 7th, 2009
I don’t know about you, but being a personal-drug dispenser behind a counter can seem pretty boring. With the sorting of the pills and documenting whether the patients took it or not, its just not the work that you dreamed about as a kid. Perhaps your dream job was more like creating robots that would replace these kinds of jobs. Well thank goodness for those engineers.
The engineers at Panasonic have made a promise that personal-drug dispensing robots will be seen in Japanese hospitals and pharmacies. Panasonic also promises that this robot will cost a couple of hundred thousand dollars, but it will bring in billions of dollars profit.
