EATR Robot: Robots Gone Zombie?

If your worst nightmare wasn’t giant robots blasting you with lasers then maybe it was zombies eating the brains out of your skull, but if you had both nightmares, then you know what the EATR Robot is. We talked about this one briefly in January. In its simplicity, it gets energy from eating stuff, just like us. They eat things like coal or sunlight and on occasion human flesh. Well, not specifically humans, but it wouldn’t know the difference. It would just know that your flesh was a nice energy supplier.
On the bright side, the EATR robot isn’t just built to eat humans. EATR actually represents Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot, meaning that it finds energy on its own. So it uses whatever resources it can find amongst its surroundings. For example, if there is some coal around it, it will harvest it and burn it for energy. Just keep in mind that if you come across this predator, just run cause it will hack at you with a chainsaw until you’re in tiny, eatable pieces.
Does it poop too? It just might.
