Chris Wollard Creates New Tin Bots
July 16th, 2009

robot tin art 2A seem-to-be professional wielder has yet again come around, giving us tin robot sculptures created with assorted scrap metals. Chris Woolard from Tulsa has been going down to his local scrap metal shop and free picking the most random metals you could think of. He picks up metals from copper to forks to old computer chips, the last one giving geeks envy.

Every geek or any one with a vivid imagination loves ninjas, or even all the better, life size samurai’s. Well C.W. has made one just for his living room. It watches his house and more importantly his scrap metal. In his “metal-shop” he has also created smaller versions of his little iron treats such as his cowboys, gunslingers, and even punk rockers.

Chris Wollard has been doing this for 10 years, cluttering his yard, kitchen counter, and many other surfaces of little components that might give his sculptures that edge of appeal. Since there is a Build-A-Bot event coming up in Tulsa, he’ll need that boost of energy and possibly even a boost of his supplies so don’t be afraid to contact him and give him some of your trash.
