2-XL Robot Simulator Remember the 2-XL robot? It was originally developed by Dr. Michael J. Freeman and was intended to teach kids. Even the name 2-XL translates into “To Excel.” The robot told jokes, played games, and asked questions intended to inspire children to enjoy learning.

Well, 2-XL lives on in the form of a fully functional 2-XL simulator implemented in Flash.
