Lawnbott LB1200 Revolutionizes Lawn Mowing
June 9th, 2009

Like other lawn mowing robots, the Lawnbott LB1200 is small, compact, and proficient. It is able to mow yards that are up to 5,500 square feet and go up a max of a 27 degree angle, inclined hill. Gladly it is silent as a mouse, but at close distances, the wheels can make some noise. Also like most robots, the price is large. Since it is limited, this one costs $1399, but it’s worth every penny.
As shown in the video, the lawns are well done and it only costs about $10 of electricity per year. The upcoming mainstream robot has moisture sensors so it knows if it’s mowing the grass or not and it also has bump sensors which are good cause you don’t want a local pet getting mowed.

This thing really works! I have been watching my neighbors unit for a few weeks and will be ordering one at Probotics.com
They asked me a pile of questions to be sure that my lawn was compatible. I have to say that this surprised me in this “just sell” world we live in these days.
Just to pass something along: Curb drop offs are not a good border since overhanging grass can cause the mower to drop over the edge. Apparently it needs a few inches of grass free area to reverse.
