This is sure to get PETA all hot and bothered. I’m no PETA dude, but I do love animals. The video is uncomfortable to watch. Mostly because you can see how the shaver on the robot arm sometimes gets caught on the sheer and causes the animal pain.

Despite how unsettling it looks, the inventor, James Trevely, claims that the sheep don’t mind it very much. According to him the sheep often fell asleep mid-shear, (Or are they passing out?).

It’s bizarre, that’s for sure. Video below.
