DIY Chess Playing Robot
May 5th, 2009

It may not look like much, but this chess robot will give you a hell of a good game. It’s the creation of Ebrahim Jahandar. Using 6500 lines of C code, Ebrahim programmed the robot to recognize opponent’s moves, make decisions on it’s own and then move the pieces, while also posting the move to an lcd screen. Very nice. Maybe it will dry your tears after beating you for a tenth straight time.
