Roony To Deploy A House On The Moon

Meet Roony. Roony doesn’t want much out of his robot life. He doesn’t desire speed or fancy tank treads. He has no use for flashy lights or human arms. He just wants to deploy a house on the moon. It’s what he was designed for. It’s his destiny.
Students from Malardalens University in Sweden hope to get him there. The students are collaborating with artist Mikael Genberg, who is known for alternative living environments.
The idea is to get the robot on the moon and drop a small house. Just to show that man can do it. They hope to accomplish this task by 2012.
