One Family, One Carebot
March 24th, 2009

How’s this for a disturbing video demonstrating the Carebot? It’s clearly a thinly veiled hostage situation. Just look at the old lady’s face. She’s scared right out of her depends. It’s Stockholm syndrome, where this family has developed a sick kind of loyalty to their capture.

It’s pretty obvious. They’ve even been forced to do interviews praising their captor. You can tell they are being forced to say good stuff. The robot even makes the old woman get up and do things and she really hops to it. You’ll also notice that it keeps them subservient by making them watch Jeopardy until their brain is mush.

When the woman tells Carebot to go away, because she has company, it uses psychology to maintain it’s control over her by saying “You don’t love me anymore”.

It’s sick. Just sick.
