K-9 Wins Trossen Project Contest

We’re a little late on this one, but Trossen recently announced the winners of their latest Project Contest. DJSures won 1st place for this autonomous K-9. It was chosen because of ingenuity, creativity and overall presentation.
This K-9 may not shoot lasers, but he has 3D mapping capability, speech synthesis, adaptable personality depending on human interaction, obstacle avoidance, a diagnostic LCD screen and can follow a human. Everything you would want in a robot dog. It was also built from scratch.
