Walter the Robot

Here is a true DIY bot that looks like it could be pretty cool. He’s called Walter and he’s from Chris the Carpenter at Let’s Make Robots. At the moment Walter exists in two halves: a torso with a custom chassis powered by DeWalt drill motors, and a head that features a small LCD display and turns on three axises by a collection of servos.

At this stage everything is controlled via remote, but one day Walter will be able to locate a person, face them, and display a list of functions. Other then that, we can’t say what Walter’s ultimate destiny may be. But if you watch the second video below, Walter definitely has a knack for making your wife pissed at you.
