As you can see in the above pic, both robots have large wangs with license plates. One is propping up a woman. Talented Japanese 3D artist Kazushi Kobayashi has created the Chubu 01, which is a line of mecha robot models from “a parallel 50s where the robots are the most popular transport system”.

It’s true, we should be driving robots to work by now, but since we can’t at least we have these awesome models to show us what we’re missing.

The creations are so unique that the famous Tokyo Cultuart design shop in Tokyo selected them to be displayed in their Harajuku showroom.
