Wesco Limited has answered the prayers of countless Star Wars fans and/or those who have an affinity for robots and whose homes may lack visible clock displays, leaving them to stumble blindly through a hitherto unnavigable time dimension where they’re constantly plagued by their need for R2-D2 clocks.  Well fear no more, this October will witness the coming of Artoo in all his time-telling glory.

An R2 clock alone would be cool, but this tabletop wonder actually projects the time on your wall.  Though it won’t repair your ship in-flight or holographize a sick Leia message, the R2-D2 alarm clock will certainly impress all who see it.  The alarm is currently available for pre-order from Amazon UK and Play.com, but only in the UK.  Hopefully this will make its way across the pond in the near future.
